This is my........Demon!
An interesting and thought provoking suggestion from Drewzel this week. My Demon is...TIME!!
There is never enough, it goes too quickly, you can never get it back, you can't slow it down or stop it and I am forever wishing for more!!!!
I used my time today to....finish this little fellow-not a white rabbit but a very late one!!
cover some buttons...
make a little felt rabbit...
take photos of the bees in the Hakea Laurina
And now it's nearly bed time! Where did the day go??? There's that dreaded demon again!

That is a great one. I've done nothing but eat today and now the day is over already. I love those fabric covered buttons by the way!

I totally agree - this Easter long weekend is going too fast! The buttons are gorgeous - another project for my "to do" list.

Your post is so appropriate. It's exactly what I have run out of this week! I love your fabric covered buttons and bunny too. Happy Easter.

Oh Jenny, I totally agree with you. Something we wish for and hate.
Love all your projects. Most of all those covered buttons. Very cool.
Hope things have cooled down for you over the weekend.

I know what you mean.... But you still seem to pack in a lot of crafty things in a day. BTW - I love those little buttons!!

I agree entirely! And what were those silly idiots thinking when they wrote that song "time is on my side".
I do love your craftiness though. You seem to make a good deal with your time. I'm impressed.

an extra two hours would be great. but preferably after they boy's bed time as that's when it would be best put to use.

how beautiful is that last photo?!! And I so love your fabric covered buttons- that's something I'd like to try. I've been wondering lately if I can convert my snap press into a button coverer...?
And also- I totally agree with you on the time thing. Where does it go? There are never enough hours in the day, and I feel I waste a lot of time...
(also- thanks for your lovely comment :o) )

I couln´t agree with you more about the time demon. Reading the comments, I guess this really goes for many people. But I think you´ve done so much today! And those buttons are so adorable! I hope you had a great Easter!

Well I can see where the day has gone... LOL!!! Your sooo productive and everything looks awesome but I do know what you mean, I wish there were more hours in the day too... :)
Posted by: Jodie | March 26, 2008 at 10:21 AM
Well, at least you can see that you have DONE something with your time - and what beautiful things you have created! Some days I feel I have fed kids, cleaned mess, played games, and done all those house-wifey mumsy things, and at the end of the day have nothing to show for it all (well, except for two lovely happy kids of course:P) If only there were a few extra hours in the day to just spend doing things that produced a tangible 'result'. I think that's why I love sewing so much. I get something to show for my time.....

Jenny, what magnificent photos! I love your little felt bunny - too cute. With time I figure everyone has the same amount - it all comes down to choices. I am not a good decision maker at the best of times.

if only I did not need to sleep I would get so much more done!

Time is just one slippery character. Even if you think you've got him nailed, no way off he scoots and you've got to start trying to find him again. Loved you matrushka doll buttons. Do you sell them?

Oh I know what you mean about time!! It can be overwhelming sometimes when you stop and think how much has passed by and we won't get it back!! The buttons are awesome love them

Love the rabbits and the buttons! While time may be your demon, you seem to fit so much into it!

Hi Jenny,
I have been lurking for a while. Love your photo of the bee. I agree with the time thing there just never seems to be enough in one day.
