This is.......my Latest Discovery
I have spent a bit of time in the garden these last few days and have been giving my latest discovery a real workout!
Aquaspikes!!!!!
They look like little gnome hats with holes in that you connect to used juice containers. You fill them with water or liquid fertilizer and they water right down to the roots!

Here is matchbox number 4....
seed packet, coloured paper, seeds, crochet flower
I've seen those spikes but I never realised that you actually attach a bottle of water to the top....what a great idea.

Those spikes are good. I have a few out, but must put more as there doesn't look to be any rain in sight.

Those spikes are something I'll look out for...not sure if I've ever seen such juice bottles here but you never know.
You matchboxes are pretty good. If I can find some more, I'm gonna try again. I also need to enlarge the template and see if I can do one of cardstock.
