Camping
Last Friday and Saturday we managed to get some R&R at one of our favourite camping spots Innes National Park.We had two wonderful days and nights and were back in time for Mothers' Day. I crocheted all the way there and back on the four hour trip!
We had Shell Beach camp site ALL to ourselves!
Walking track to the beach.
This is why it is called Shell Beach!
Lots of lovely treasures lying about.
We had frequent visitors of the furry kind.
We cooked our freshly caught fish and potatoes in alfoil on an open fire.Five star meals for sure!
Freezing cold nights and mornings but lovely sunrises.
The weather was glorious.I even went swimming!
The Sooty Oyster Catchers were busy.
Always love a good web.
I would like a garden shed like this one!
We were so lucky with the weather-lovely warm days. Good job we are not going this weekend as the forecast is hail, storms and rain!!!

Great photos, looks beautiful.

Looks like you had the perfect weekend - gorgeous scenery, plenty of native flora and fauna, and great weather. I wish I could crochet during car travel without getting travel sick.

Sounds like you had a great weekend, and perfect timing as it has been raining all day here. Your beach with the shells is beautiful. I'd love to go there. I love collecting shells. I think that shed is great.

What a gorgeous location - it is so nice to get away for a break. And the photos are lovely.
I just read back through your blog and I love you dinner party guest list. Can I come too?!!! David Attenborough, Dalai Lama and Billy Conolly would all be on my list too - except I missed that "This is..." Let me know when you get everyone together, and I'll be there! I'll bring some after dinner chockies and a bottle of wine!
