When making the little zip pouches I have followed the wonderful tutorial shared by Dear Fi. However, I always seemed to have a problem with the part where she "pulls it through with gentle persuasion-the "it" being the top layer where your sewing foot comes into direct contact with the PVC. I always ended up with jammed bobbins, weird stitch tension, sweaty palms and a lot of unpicking!" But now, thanks to some friendly advice from the woman at my local quilt shop, I use a bit of baking paper!
You don't need to sew on it, just slip it under your sewing foot for easy gliding!
I received this lovely apron from Curlypops as part of a swap we organised. It is so well made and just the right colour! Thanks so much Cam!
Can you believe how quickly my squatters have grown in a week!!!
From this...
To this...
To this!!!!
I am sure they must be nearly ready for their flying lessons by now!
The roses are in full bloom...
I came across this daisy at the garden show and of course just had to buy two of them!
Have a wonderful week everyone!
