The day after school ended I went to Newcastle for a dear friend's birthday celebration. After the party was over I spent a couple of days in Sydney with only myself to please. I shopped and walked and did lots of sightseeing and soaked up the city. I spent a day at the zoo. One of my favourite things to do.
I loved the Chinese Garden of Friendship. Such a tranquil and special place not so far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
It was so much fun to be around Darling Harbour the week before Christmas.
But it is always good to be home.
Christmas Day was a time to open my Secret Santa gift. I was spoiled rotten by Josie this year.
A beautiful bag so exquisitely made.
Along with such a cute crochet hook holder.
And some other lovely bits of crafty goodness. Josie your accuracy and precision amaze me! My gifts are gorgeous. How lucky was I to receive your wonderful presents. Thank you.
It never ceases to amaze me how generous crafty bloggers are. Thank you so much Josie and thank you Chooky Blue for continuing this tradition. It is a special thing you do:)
I sent gifts to Kerstin
We have had time to relax. I have been working on sewing these grannies together.
What started out as this in July
Is nearly at the finish line. I'm just working on the border now.
We have had this little Goober staying with us
